The documentary “Voices of the Arctic” takes viewers beyond the Arctic Circle and brings together three standalone stories about the people of the Far North. Musician and DJ Denis Simachev travels across the Russian Arctic in search of unique natural and cultural sounds.
Each segment explores how modern technology, shamanic practices, musical traditions, and everyday life intersect under harsh climatic conditions and rapid cultural change. The film paints a rich portrait of northern communities and their struggle to preserve traditions in a transforming world.
